Our family of four buys one of these case boxes about once a year. Over the past several years we've tried similar papers from Scott, Envision, and Tork. I think we're on our third case of this product and it's been my favorite.The reason to buy these bulk cases of recycled paper is not because it's the softest thing out there, it's for the peace of mind. First, it cuts down on the frequency of the concern that you might not have a roll of paper when you need it, compared to buying the supermarket 8 or 12-packs. And second, being made of 100% recycled paper, you don't have to think about virgin boreal timber being felled to service your nether regions. (And there is no plastic anywhere in this case.)The other brands cover these merits just fine, of course. The reason this product is my favorite is that the rolls seem to have the fewest problems with separation of the plies, mis-alignment of the sheet perforations, and overuse of whatever adhesive sticks down the end of the roll. I occasionally get a Tork roll with one of these issues, but seems to be much less than in the others we've tried. And the softness here is the same or better than the other brands.I really don't understand the adhesive use on these bulk papers. Sometimes there is so much at the start of a roll that I end up tearing off about 20 feet trying to get going. Each roll is individually wrapped in paper, so I'm not even sure why gluing is required.
