The color and styling are beautiful. Unfortunately, the engineering is poor. There is a bolt that runs through the middle of the unit that holds it all together. This bolt is too long and protrudes out the bottom. Not only did the bolt damage the felt on the underside of the base, but it makes the stand unable to balance properly.I opened up the unit to see if perhaps the unit had just been put together improperly. Nope...the bolt is just too long.I placed some felt pads under the base. It now stands evenly. It's really not a big deal to stick on some pads. However, given the price, it should arrive in perfect shape.
