Really well made. Super heavy, super secure mount. But REALLY DIFFICULT to pull back spindle to change rolls. Was unable to find an adjustment to reduce the tension. Kind of a pain, nor great for kids or older folks with dexterity issues.I have had one of these for 1.5 years and just ordered another. They are very expensive, but are well designed.Pros:Beautiful finishHeavy quality feelHeavy duty attachment bracketSingle attachment point can be located on stud for extra strengthPlastic rings make roll slide easilyVery easy to change rollBall on end of hook does not slow rotation of roll, but is good a preventing the roll from slipping off.Cons:These things are expensive! Close to $100 with shipping.It only comes with the hook in one direction. I have installed both of mine so that the roll is pulled into the hook when removing paper. I have not tried it the other way where removing paper would pull the roll toward the ball and potentially out of the hook. This could still work, because the ball is fairly good at preventing the roll from coming off, but if at all possible, I would install it so that the roll is pulled into the hook instead of out of it when removing paper.I have noticed that the plastic rings are not made of a wear resistant plastic and over time they wear down, but this does not seem to affect much, as the roll still slides well. Use of an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene plastic would have been better.Quality product. Cheaper than anywhere else I lookedHave bought a number of these Chelsea toilet paper holders and towel bars. Just opened one that is beyond the return window, but it was not a new product. The rings that protect the chrome from the paper roll are missing as well as some mounting hardware. I cannot find any way to deal with this other than writing a review. I like these paper holders, but I want to get a new one. They are expensive.Solid construction, easy to put on/take off toilet paper. No more dropping the pieces and the center spring!
