Navigator NPL1824 Platinum Paper - 99 Brightness, 24lb, 12 x 18 Inches, White (2500 Sheets/Carton) - Premium Printing for Office Documents, Flyers & Presentations

I tried this paper because I use 12x18 sheets quite a bit for architectural review drawings that are easy to take to and move around with in meetings or on construction sites.Since the prints are then reduced to 50% of their usual size of 24x36" plots, the print quality must be high to not lose too much detail. Very smooth paper like the Hammermill reams Amazon offers (Hammermill Paper, Premium Color Copy Paper, 12 x 18 Paper, 32lb Paper, 100 Bright, 1 Ream / 500 Sheets (106127R) Acid Free Paper) has worked well for that on my EPSON WF 76-20 inkjet printer.The Platinum Paper is not as smooth and noticeably less stiff than the Hammermill, which is due to its lighter weight but also probably to the surface treatment of the product. The prints, especially b&w line drawings, are less crisp, very slightly blotchy. Compared to the Hammermill paper, not the same for sure.This is a great deal, but I would prefer the Hammermill type for my purposes.I also received the paper in a box that was slightly damaged. I think it should be double boxed with another sturdy cardboard box. Seems to happen to many paper products sent via Amazon. I recommend still going to Staples or similar if you want to be sure to get unblemished reams of paper.
